Wednesday, 9 January 2019: 2:00 PM
North 132ABC (Phoenix Convention Center - West and North Buildings)

During major weather events, it is a challenge to stay on top of ever-changing environmental conditions while also analyzing risk and communicating plans to governmental, private, and public sectors. All three need up-to-date, reliable information, but tailored to those respective audiences. This talk will demonstrate some technologies that help communicate effectively to different audiences. We’ll be discussing workflows that integrate a variety of assets from local data and crowdsourced information, along with the real-time data from the Living Atlas of the World, and building this information into out of the box ArcGIS solutions that update in real-time and provide risk and impact analysis across many demographic sectors.
