The Promise of JPSS

JPSS-1 launched on November 18, 2017 from Vandenberg AFB. Now operational, NOAA-20 is gathering environmental intelligence to support a host of scientists and decision makers that work every day to keep citizens safe and advance our scientific understanding of our planet. The incredible efforts of every JPSS team member and partner is being realized by putting JPSS data to work in ways that touch every citizen and impact the economy.

Dave will debut a new video production: "The Promise of JPSS" that speaks from the users perspective about the need for improved weather forecasts and monitoring of the Earth system and how JPSS is answering those calls. JPSS observations benefit the nation and the world. From supporting the high Arctic to life saving warnings, JPSS is providing much more information at a higher resolution as the backbone of a Weather Ready Nation.
