The JPSS Advocacy Channel provides in mostly video format easy-to-follow instructions on how to access data from Polar Orbiters, and how those data can be used and understood. The channel is designed for forecasters, that is, National Weather Service forecasters have suggested tutorial ideas. Recently developed tutorials describe how to display data from VIIRS from NOAA’s CLASS archive and how to interpret microwave imagery. In addition, a page is being maintained that includes links to known sites holding current data. The goal of this channel is to provide timely and short training videos that are accessible to all.
