Monday, 7 January 2019: 11:45 AM
North 231AB (Phoenix Convention Center - West and North Buildings)
Matthew Seybold, NOAA/NESDIS/Office of Satellite and Product Operations, Suitland, MD; and E. Kline, W. M. MacKenzie Jr., K. W. Mozer, and R. Williams

The GOES constellation has accomplished dynamic continuity of spacecraft and instrument operations. As a result, the GOES science product portfolio is an amalgamation of GOES-NOP era capabilities from GOES-14/15 as well as GOES-R era capabilities from GOES-16/17. The completion of GOES-16 post launch test phase and subsequent parallel spacecraft operations from the GOES-West orbit location necessitated dynamic planning and adjustment of the science product portfolio. This talk will describe the strategy to ensure continuity of GOES science product operations as well as the status of the L1b and L2 portfolios
