The advent of affordable and accessible home virtual reality systems and mobile 360° video capabilities presents an opportunity to communicate atmospheric and climate science to a broader community. Virtual reality can help users visualize data, simulate future climate events, immerse themselves in virtual field trips, and interact with earth systems virtually. This presentation will explore the possibilities and challenges represented by supporting this new technology as librarians.
