Tamara G. Houston, NOAA/NESDIS/National Centers for Environmental Information, Asheville, NC; and M. J. Brewer

To better support its users, NOAA’s National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) uses a three-tiered approach for climate services that leverages the expertise and capabilities of partners at the national, regional and state levels. In particular, NCEI’s partnership with NOAA’s Regional Climate Centers and the American Association of State Climatologists (AASC) provides regional and state level context to NCEI’s national suite of products. Also as part of the partnership, the Regional Climate Centers and State Climate Offices utilize data and information from NCEI as an input for many of the value-added products and services they provide to their users. This talk will highlight recent national, regional and state user analytics, activities, and resources and how these partnerships enhance the NCEI mission.
