NWS IDSS Program Update

The National Weather Service (NWS) faces rising challenges in an age of increasing hazardous weather and water threats. NWS is evolving to enhance its services, organizational structure, workforce model and operating model, including Impact-Based Decision Support Services (IDSS) to better support a Weather-Ready Nation.

This presentation will focus on the NWS Evolve activities taking place to support NWS' IDSS program toward the vision of NWS becoming an increasingly customer-centric science- based service organization that links observations, forecasts, and warnings with communications and Core Partner engagement through IDSS.
