AMS has always been a Boston-based organization. With rapid growth in the 1950's, Executive Director Dr. Kenneth Spengler sought a larger headquarters space on Beacon Hill. AMS acquired 45 Beacon Street, the Third Harrison Gray Otis House, in 1958. This talk will show the historic transformation of the derelict structure into a true Beacon Hill landmark and a very special workspace.
