Ellen Mecray, NOAA/NESDIS/National Centers for Environmental Information, Taunton, MA

With the establishment of regional climate service delivery at the National Centers for Environmental Information, the regional directors have worked to identify and meet the information requirements of a variety of customers and partners. In the eastern region, the Regional Climate Centers and other close partners work with the regional director to meet these needs along sectoral lines. This session will highlight several of the key sectors in the region, and showcase some of the tools and resources being created to meet the demand at the regional scale. A framework for climate service delivery in the east is being tested along these sectoral lines and will be presented. The session will include this introductory presentation followed by the partners' work on climate information and its application to the health, transportation, hydrology, and marine fisheries sectors.
