Napoleon I Room (Deauville Beach Resort)
Xiaoyu Liu, Univ. of Miami/RSMAS, miami, FL
In my lecture, I will mainly discuss about the interaction of African dust and dry-air outbreaks. I use the same time- series data to compare and analysis that. Also I will refer to the production mechanisms and size distribution of soil aerosols of Africa, its composition and optical properties including the new techniques and development on this research area. Since it is very important for us to analysis the impact of aerosols on climate, especially the roles that is important for aerosols and water vapor and their combo effects, I will focus on the contribution of African dust and dry-air outbreaks on the percipation and climate change. It is a totally new field that we are concerning of, I will try to advance my opinion on that complicated thing. It is will be much more clearly and easier for us to dicuss the dust impact if we solve that problem.
