An F3 tornado struck the Kawacatoose First Nation just to the northeast of Raymore, Saskatchewan on 2 July 2010. The synoptic pattern leading up to the event is examined, however particular attention is given to examining an enhanced horizontal convective roll. It is proposed that the inflow of a northeastward tracking supercell thunderstorm overtook an enhanced horizontal convective roll, which shortly thereafter led to the development of an F3 tornado.
