We describe a real-time algorithm for removing non-meteorological echoes from WSR-88D reflectivity data using vertical profiles of reflectivity, Doppler velocity, satellite infrared temperature and surface observations. We demonstrate this technique on cases with Anamalous Propagation (AP), chaff, clear-air clutter, clutter surrounding precipitation among other situations.
