Analyst—monitoring and analysing radar system parameters

State of the Art weather radar systems have greatly enhanced their operational performance and capabilities within a few years. In addition to tuned and suited hard and software capabilities a detailed and flexible system monitoring that allows a deep look into the individual components down to the lowest replaceable unit is a must. This monitoring capability is as good as the tools that are supporting this capability. Analyst provides a data warehouse that stores all system parameters to a long term database. It provides suited tools to analyse system parameter over time in operator configurable charts. Configurable event triggered and periodic reports are generated which may be send via email to system operators. Analyst supports a millisecond accurate reconstruction of the system status. Future implementations will also support long term analysis of system parameters and tendency reports.
