During the spring storm season of 2007, attempts will be made to field three disparate mobile Doppler radars to study severe convective storms and tornadoes. In addition to improved versions of the previously used W-band UMass radar and the X-band dual-polarization X-band UMass radar, a mobile, X-band, phased-array radar from CIRPAS will be tested in the Plains of the U. S. Problems of how to coordinate the three radars and how to integrate data from them will be discussed. Interference between the X-band radars and how to nest the high-resolution W-band radar within the coverage of the X-band radars are also considered.
