Due to calibration errors, CINRAD (China New Generation Weather Radar) ground-based weather radars (GR) reflectivity was often biased. In order to solve this problem, we proposed a new method by comparison of GR and TRMM Precipitation Radar (PR) 2A25 product to correct GR reflectivity. There were five steps to deal with the differences of radar frequency, particle scattering, path attenuation, observation space between GR and PR and the effects of non-uniform beam filling, ground clutter. From PR and GR's geo-match data, a group of the best data was selected to calculate the bias of GR reflectivity. Finally, some validations were performed based on two GRs data.
