6 Communicating hydrometeorological information—From drought to flood

The National Weather Service's Southeast River Forecast Center (SERFC) is responsible for communicating critical hydrometeorological information to an extensive and diverse group of constituents across the Southeast U.S. Depending on hydrometeorological conditions, this information may pertain to either drought or flood with a time reference as short as hours or as long as years. This poster presentation will discuss creative products and services developed by the SERFC to effectively and efficiently communicate information to decision-makers.
