When one hears the words, “extreme weather,” they immediately think of tornadoes, hurricanes and snowstorms. Yet, there is an incredible amount of extreme weather that happens around us, on very small scales, far more often than we imagine.

My mission today is to help you learn about and understand some of these small-scale weather extremes, why they happen and what they mean.

Be prepared, events will happen quickly and may only affect a small portion of the audience.
