Local science museums are hubs of public educational programs that can enhance a community's understanding of meteorology. Susan Duvenhage, President and CEO of Adventure Science Center in Nashville, will discuss how science museums can work in partnership with local TV to engage students and adults in meaningful ways. She will present ideas for fun, interactive programs that have helped the Nashville market prepare for severe weather and become more knowledgeable about how climate issues affect our lives.
