Ensemble Forecasts, and Agreement Between Model Ensembles

An overview of the rational behind ensemble prediction systems,and a look at how ensemble members are produced.

Examples of general agreement amongst different model ensembles will be shown as well as examples of model ensembles that converge upon differing solutions.

I also wish to take a look at the range of solutions offered by ensembles for a point location as well as at the synoptic scale.
