Forecasting Southern California, Not as Easy as you Think

We have own weather song. "It Never Rains in Southern California," and people believe it! How does a broadcast meteorologist convince people to listen to the forecast when most think the weather is always sunny and warm. But our message is important, we have to forecast and address droughts, flooding, wildfires, heat waves and so much more. And maybe the biggest challenge we face in SoCal isn't the weather.
