NOAA Near-Real-Time System Montioring Web Page

Kristina Sprietzer, Science and Technology Corp., Suitland, MD; and G. Legg

The NOAA/NESDIS MODIS Near Real Time system was designed under Computer Sciences Corporation's (CSC) Central Satellite Data Processing (CSDP) contract. The system processes data globally, with 10 product suites for the MODIS instrument data on both the TERRA and AQUA satellites.

This poster will present Monitoring web page applications of MODIS near real time data that are currently in place. These pages have become critical to NOAA staff in reducing the time to monitor system performance and troubleshoot emergencies. It has also been beneficial to NOAA customers in reviewing update information and initial times of data acquisition.
