A newsletter forum on climate science and climate change for non-specialists
Hall AB
Early in 2002 a quarterly printed newsletter was launched for the non-specialist public interested in the science of climate and climate change. Under the banner of "Climate Science Forum", it reports findings in climate science, and presents scientific viewpoints on climate changes and climate variations. It is expected that readers use this information to educate others on climate matters, and to shape decisions on climate policies and strategies.
Climate Science Forum does not assume editorial positions in any matter of science or policy. Rather, the newsletter hosts a "Forum" that strives to include viewpoints of several spokespersons, who articulate differing interpretations of key issues in climate science. Each issue also includes: - Reports on climate science investigations, with citations and online links to original articles; - Reports on scientific conferences and meetings; - A "Climate Science Classroom"; and - Letters to the Editor.
Climate Science Forum is now fully on-line.
