Robert L. Gall, NCAR, Boulder, CO; and S. Koch, L. Nance, and L. R. Bernardet
The WRF Developmental Testbed Center (DTC) is a facility where the Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP) research and operational communities interact to accelerate testing and evaluation of new models and techniques for research applications and operational implementation. Since its inception in 2003, the DTC has evolved into a distributed facility with two nodes in Boulder, Colorado, one at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) and the second at the Global Systems Division (GSD) of NOAA's Earth Systems Research Laboratory. The DTC has seen an exciting growth in its funding over the past year. This presentation will provide a brief overview of current DTC activities, as well as the new efforts the DTC will be undertaking in the coming year. Recorded presentation
