NPOESS VIIRS on NPP: radiometric and spectral performance

The VIIRS sensors on the NPOESS/NPP satellites are currently under development and manufacturing by Raytheon Corporation. VIIRS on NPP is expected to complete its testing by September 2009. In this paper, we will discuss radiometric and spectral performance of VIIRS as built for NPP.
