Andrew Freedman, Climate Central, Princeton, NJ; and H. Cullen and M. McGuirk

The Cooperative Institute for Climate and Satellites – North Carolina (CICS-NC) located in Asheville, is developing a series of climate educational videos with Climate Central. The videos draw heavily from the USGCRP Global Climate Change Impacts in the United States report and from the recently released report of the National Research Council's America's Climate Choices “Adapting to the Impacts of Climate Change”. This paper describes the process of selecting topics, establishing a clear vetting process for the script, story board, and fact checking, as well as methods to ensure the scientific integrity of the segments, and the distribution strategy.
