Tuesday, 25 January 2011: 11:30 AM
602/603 (Washington State Convention Center)
Stan Heckman, Earth Networks, Germantown, MD

The WeatherBug Total Lightning Network is a new network designed to provide the same national coverage for K-changes, narrow bipolar events, and other cloud pulses that has existed for decades for return strokes. This presentation will describe how the WTLN detects weak cloud pulses hundreds of kilometers away, and will show comparisons to LIS and VHF mappers.
