The chemistry-climate models used in CCMVal provide projections through 2100. I will discuss how stratospheric effects on climate are projected to change, and have changed, during 1960-2100. This requires a careful definition of climate that is appropriate during the entire time period. Broadly, stratospheric changes to variability, and coupling to surface climate, are projected to change modestly in the CCMVal models during the remainder of this century.
