A parade of severe snowstorms established new snowfall records for several Northeastern cities during the winter of 2009-2010. These storms caused schools to close for multiple days, disrupted commerce, and brought numerous other disruptions to the millions of residents of the Northeast Corridor. This presentation will review the East Coast snowstorms of 2009-2010 with a focus on the economic, social, and other societal impacts that resulted from them.
