With the recent launch of the NPOESS Preparatory Project (NPP), a risk reduction and data continuity mission, the JPSS Data Products group is deeply immersed in the initial phase of the Calibration/Validation campaign. The current Cal/Val activities will be discussed along with estimated dates for the release of operational data products. This talk will also discuss how the Cal/Val organization and plans will evolve for the launch of JPSS-1 scheduled in 2017.
