The dynamical mechanism of temperature and wind velocity is studied in a complicated region of Korean peninsula. Time series data of temperature and wind velocity on stations having no automatic weather system are obtained from those of observation stations via the ordinary kriging interpolation method. For our model, temperature and wind velocity in stations of a complicated region are simulated and analyzed by using the multifractal detrended fluctuation analysis. It is indeed taken into account from the fact that the high-ranked station exhibits a richer multifractal feature from the multifractal strength. In particular, this study leads to the principal conclusion that our method may be useful and effective in order to determine and establish the locations of new automatic weather stations for two meteorological variables in a specific complicated region.
