3A.1 INIVITED -- MODIS and Complementary Relationship aided ET mapping

Tuesday, 8 January 2013: 11:00 AM

The Complementary Relationship of evaporation is employed to yield regionally representative ET rates at a monthly basis. Then a linear transformation of the MODIS daytime surface temperature values can specify ET rates at a spatial resolution of about 1km. Assumptions, results and lessons learnt with the method are discussed.
