The NWS Weather-Ready Nation Roadmap's transformational activities are being tested in a series of six pilot projects throughout the United States. These projects focus on enhancing impact-based decision support services and streamlining new research and technology into operations. The results of the Pilot Projects will inform the Weather-Ready Nation Roadmap Execution Plan, which will guide the specific activities to implement the best practices identified. This presentation will provide an overview and update of the six Pilot Projects, detail the accomplishments, best practices, and lessons learned to date, and how these results are already informing improvements to NWS operations for decision support. Finally, the presentation will discuss how these results will be incorporated into the NWS Weather-Ready Nation Roadmap Execution Plan.
