Earth Networks Total Lightning Network Overview

ENTLN Overview In 2012 Earth Networks installed an additional 250 sites, bringing us from 400 to 650. We also partnered with WWLLN, bringing our combined total to 700. Our flash detection efficiency is now 2/3 to 3/4 across the US, and our median location error is between 200 and 300 meters. Because last year at this conference there were questions from the audience about how the detection efficiency could possibly be that high, this year we will provide a detailed discussion of how we measure detection efficiency.
