Extreme and rare weather events, combined with (unusual) records, will show the diversity of seasonal weather events that have occurred throughout the National Weather Service Brownsville County Warning Area. This paper will focus on the significant freezes that have affected the area, including its duration and economic impact. Strongest tornado and hail events are also examined.
