The explosion of weather information riding the internet, social media, and digital wireless tidal wave has fueled rapid development of new methods to deliver severe weather warnings to the public. There are upsides and downsides to the ubiquitous availability of public domain sourced warnings in a completely unregulated electronic delivery arena.
