MEDMI: experience in building a structure for environment & health research in the UK

Progress in identifying environmental causes of ill health is hampered by the challenges of linking environmental and epidemiological datasets. The MEDMI team are attempting to simplify this process by creating a platform on which a set of key datasets for the UK have been pre-linked and by providing a web-based access system including standard analysis tools. Our talk will describe early progress in the project, including both successes and disappointments.
