The International Satellite Cloud Climatology Project (ISCCP) is one of the most widely cited satellite cloud datasets. However, it has not been updated since 2009. This presentation will review the recent efforts to transfer the processing capability from the project's Principal Investigator (William Rossow at City College of New York) to NOAA's National Climatic Data Center. The new processing for the ISCCP H-series products will provide higher resolution cloud data than previously available from ISCCP and will also expand the period of record. The result is an updated cloud climatology dataset for weather and climate studies.
