CSPP (Community Satellite Processing Package) is a collection of software systems for processing direct broadcast data from polar orbiting meteorological satellites, including Suomi NPP, POES, Metop, Terra, Aqua. It allows anyone with the ability to receive the High Rate Data (HRD) direct broadcast (DB) from Suomi NPP to create Sensor Data Record (SDR) and Environmental Data Record (EDR) products from the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS), Cross-track Infrared Sounder (CrIS), and Advanced Technology Microwave Sounder (ATMS).

The suite of software released through CSPP continues to grow, and now includes retrievals from a University of Wisconsin Dual Regression Technique (CrIS, AIRS, IASI), Cloud Products from CLAVRx (VIIRS, MODIS, AVHRR), Microwave products from MIRS (ATMS, AMSU-A+MHS) and a visualization and analysis tool HYRDA2,VIIRS,CrIS,ATMS,MODIS,AIRS,IASI). This software provides users the capability to create products from their own local ground stations in real-time in support of a variety of environmental applications.

This presentation will focus on current progress, future updates and current applications of the CSPP software products.
