By examining social media trends and successes in coordinated social media campaigns, patterns start to emerge that tell us what topics and data formats are reaching the most users. Through analyzing metrics in terms of their content--visual/non-visual, weather/climate, infographics/photo-like imagery, true color/false color, etc.--we can strategize how to supply visual content through social media channels to encourage users to discover connections between phenomena across Earth science disciplines, while also improving the publics' weather preparedness, climate resilience, and the understanding of the value of satellites and data to their lives.
