Marketing one's business can be expensive. However, with a targeted and fully evaluated marketing plan, one can keep costs low and still yield effective results.

This paper will discuss web-based and other marketing options, including SEO, logo and marketing design and consistency of use, web page development and maintenance and more.

Technically-based businesses, like those you may own or work for, often provide outstanding services. However, getting clients is not always as easy as one would like.

Classical advertising marketing approaches (print media) are quickly being replaced / supplemented by web-based vehicles. The latter is the focus of this presentation.

The Internet offers many ways to accomplish viable and effective marketing. Most of these key on having a web presence with an easily recognizable domain name and a logo that complements your business. Only a few companies (e.g., McDonalds, Coke) just use names or a simple symbol that are recognized for what they are. Nike, for example, has a logo that speaks loudly of "speed," an athletic attribute of importance.

But all of this is cosmetic when it comes to the meat of your web site.

This presentation will address how to establish or upgrade a web site with the focus of gaining and retaining clients. This includes optimizing your site for Google and other search engines and effectively maximizing your social media presence.

During my presentation, I will address many factors to help you get more "bang for the buck" from your web presence.
