The National Weather Service (NWS) Water Resources Services Branch participated as part of the American Meteorological Society's (AMS) Board on Enterprise Planning (BEP) Integrated Water Resources (IWR) Annual Partnership Topic (APT) Committee. The purpose of the committee was to undertake research to improve water resources information services and better inform water-related decisions in support of adaptive planning, management, use, operations, preparedness, and response activities. The committee developed a survey composed of 79 questions that fell into seven categories, including Information About You, Information Interests, Flood Information, Data/Information Services, Decision Support Services, Uncertainty, and Socioeconomic Benefits/Water Resources Services Valuation, and the AMS administered the survey.

Dan Matusiewicz will present the results of the survey. Responses to the survey will help the committee form a vision and path forward for enhanced integrated water resources services and the science required to deliver them.
