We investigate observations of CO2 obtained over Baltimore/Washington metropolitan area by an airborne in situ sensor during February 2015, as part of the Fluxes of Atmospheric Greenhouse Gases in Maryland (FLAGG-MD) campaign. This analysis will be focused on attribution of release of CO2 by point sources such as four nearby coal-fired electric generating units (i.e., Dickerson, Brandon Shores, Chalk point, and Morgantown power plants), using the NOAA HYSPLIT air parcel trajectory model. We will also compare and contrast release of CO2 from the Baltimore City to that from Washington DC.
