This presentation will briefly describe the Flooded Locations and Simulated Hydrographs (FLASH) project that has been designed to develop, evaluate, and transition the latest rainfall-driven flash flood prediction tools to the National Weather Service (NWS). This presentation will concentrate on the FLASH tools' performance during the record-setting floods in Oklahoma and Texas in May and June 2015. We will also present initial findings from the Hydrometeorological Testbed (HMT) Hydro Experiment that was run during July 2015, including findings in the development and testing of flash flood recommenders within the Hazard Services software.
