The S-NPP Ozone Mapping and Profiler Suite (OMPS) has been in operation for 4 years. It extends the 40 year total ozone and ozone profile records. Recently, wavelength calibration has been applied to this sensor system to produce improved OMPS Nadir Sensor Data Records (SDRs) and the resulting ozone Environment Data Records (EDRs). This presentation provides an evaluation of the combined performance of the orbital OMPS Nadir sensors coupled with the ground data processing system for the current SDR's status, and offers lessons learned during the 4 years of operation. Examples of the sensors' wavelength calibration are provided. The SDRs and EDRs with an insignificant error less than an average of ~0.1% in the Earth radiance retrieval.
