Finding Climate Data Fast: Navigating the National Centers for Environmental Information Climate Portal

Librarians, researchers and the public often turn to the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC) for climatic information. Recently NOAA consolidated NCDC with the National Geophysical Data Center and the National Oceanographic Data Center to form the National Centers for Environmental Information. This presentation will explore how to use the NCEI portal with its Search, Mapping and Data Tools to find commonly sought datasets.
