The Common Infrastructure for Modeling the Earth (CIME) Case Control System is an object oriented python based collection of programs used to configure, build, submit, test and archive climate model experiments. It is used in the CESM2.0 climate model at NCAR and the DOE ACME** climate model. This presentation will introduce the CIME-CCS, presenting the design, development, usage, testing methodology and developer and user challenges and experiences.
