GIS web services are becoming more advanced and commonly available, especially from NOAA. One of these services, the NOAA View Portal, leverages Esri's ArcServer and Portal technology to provide a suite of data services, ranging from WMS tiled image services, story maps developed by communicators across NOAA, interactive data technologies for classroom use, and web apps for browsing and downloading data. In this talk, we'll provide an overview of the system offerings along with discussing some of the most interesting and collaborative workflows that we have created to maximize the use of the system's cabailities and data offerings.
