Public Private Partnerships to Advance Climate Change Adaptation

National Meteorological Organizations in developing countries lack the capacity, resources and technical expertise to meet the challenges of climate change.  A framework for increasing the capacity and resources available to public institutions in developing countries through partnerships with private sector technology and service providers will be presented.  The framework provides a path to long term sustainability and growth in the capacity of these institutions.  Case studies from a variety of countries will be presented.
