The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is acquiring the next-generation weather and environmental satellite system, named the Joint Polar Satellite System (JPSS). The Suomi National Polar-orbiting Partnership (S-NPP) satellite was launched on 28 October, 2011, and is a pathfinder for JPSS and provides continuity for the NASA Earth Observation System and the NOAA Polar-orbiting Operational Environmental Satellite (POES) system.   JPSS-1 is scheduled to launch in early 2017. This presentation will review an overview of the JPSS Common Ground System (CGS) Block 2.0.  Block 2.0 is a security and technical upgrade to the current Block 1.2 operational system for satellite data processing.  Block 2.0 Results will be presented of the Block 2.0 testing of new algorithms and tables.  Comparisons of results of the Block 2.0 and Block 1.2 evaluations will be outlined.
