PARR and the NOAA IR

The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy issued a memo in Feb. 2012 that required federal agencies to make the results of research--both data and publications--freely available to the public. The "NOAA Plan for Increasing Public Access to Research Results" details the NOAA response to the memo. The presenter will discuss the "NOAA Plan" and give a detailed look at the NOAA Institutional Repository which will fulfill the requirement for publications
